High hygiene protection combined with stunning colour & style

Traditionally in Italy hospital uniforms are made entirely in white, however when Ospedale Soave San Bonifacio – a large, new public hospital in Verona – were choosing their staff uniforms, as well as the vital requirements for high hygiene, style, comfort and durability they also decided to use colour.
Designed and made by Creazioni Futura, the garments will be supplied and cared for by leading Italian industrial laundry and healthcare specialist Servizi Ospedalieri.
An exciting and important new contract, in total several thousand sets of white trousers and coloured tunics will be supplied and all will be made in Klopman's Charlotte fabric with the unique antimicrobial Sanitized finish.
Ideal for areas where personnel are in close contact with the public and working in warm conditions, Charlotte is an exceptionally comfortable and lightweight 180 g/m2 50% cotton 50% polyester twill, combining superior breathability and absorption characteristics with a soft hand to provide enhanced comfort and coolness in wear, as well as long-lasting smartness.
The additional benefit of Klopman's unique Sanitized antimicrobial finish, specifically designed to actively fight the proliferation of bacteria and fungi that are a significant cause of cross infection and contamination, provides the garments with the high level of hygiene performance required.
Dermatologically tested and proven to be safe for sensitive skins, the Sanitized antimicrobial finish remains fully effective even after repeated industrial laundering and also acts as a built-in deodorant, helping to enhance the personal freshness, confidence and well-being of the wearer.
A final, clever feature has also been supplied by the innovative use of a wide range of bright colours for the tunics, including red, yellow, orange and bright blue.
As well as helping to clearly identify the different job functions and departments within the hospital, the intention is that these bright and cheerful colour combinations will also prove to be psychologically uplifting to both staff and patients too.
