The Children's Place posts November sales

The Children's Place Retail Stores Inc announced net sales of $156.6 million for the four-week period ended November 29, 2008; a 3% decrease compared to net sales of $160.9 million for the four-week period ended December 1, 2007.
Comparable store sales declined 7% compared to an 8% increase last November. During November 2008, the Company opened two stores and closed one.
The Children's Place Retail Stores Inc. is a leading specialty retailer of children's merchandise. The Company designs, contracts to manufacture and sells high-quality, value-priced merchandise under the proprietary "The Children's Place" brand name.
