Muchachomalo to launch their brands at Bread and Butter Fair

Muchachomalo, the fashion underwear/urban streetwear company that hails from Holland is excited to announce the launch of their brand in Spain at the Bread and Butter Fair in Barcelona on the 21st to the 23rd January 2009

The Bread and Butter Fair is famous in the fashion industry for being the leading international trade fair for Street and Urban Wear. Only brands that reflect the Bread and Butter Fair's concept of progressive and contemporary clothing are accepted to exhibit, and Muchachomalo is a brand that fits in perfectly with this concept.

Muchachomalo are proud to launch themselves in Spain to retailers and the public at this exciting trade event. The Bread and Butter fair stands apart from other industry trade shows thanks to its innovation, energy and dynamism. Sponsored by Mini, among other well known and popular brands, the Bread and Butter fair is an international tradeshow for selected brands that represent a young, cutting edge and urban approach to fashion.

At this year's event, held in July, almost 90,000 visitors from over 100 countries and 900 exhibiting brands exhibited, which makes this year's show a perfect platform for exciting new companies such as Muchachomalo to spread the word about their brand to the public, industry peers and the press.

It's hard to believe that Muchachomalo was only launched in Holland 18 months ago, such has been the success of the underwear brand. While the company's core product range is in men's underwear, boxer shorts primarily, the runaway success of the men's range in bold and exclusive design prints soon led to the expansion of the collection.

It now includes women's underwear and children's underwear, in the same eye catching, colourful and cool designs, swimwear for both men and women, and bags and accessories for women. The entire range is inspired by the lifestyle of the South of Spain and Latin America and the target Muchachomalo (or “bad boy” in Spanish) customer is at the heart of the brand.

The Muchachomalo customer, both men and women, are young, carefree and live life to the max. They want their fashion to have an urban look, to be slick, bold and cool, expressing their independence and individuality. Already becoming something of a cult brand in Holland, the Spanish launch of Muchachomalo looks set to bring out the 'Muchachomalos' in people all over Spain
