Stay warm and comfortable in UV&W Thermals

The winter chill has begun to bite and you need to get some extra protection for your family. The recently launched UV&W thermals, by UV&W Products Limited, a subsidiary of the much decorated company, Ludhiana based knitwear exporters Venus Garments, has just the right recipe to keep you warm and snug through the harsh winter months.
The “organic cotton thermals with the hottest core” is what the company is offering. A truly unique concept in all aspects, the thermals are made of quilted knit fabric with organic cotton on both sides and INNOVA, the world's most insulating fibre of all natural or synthetic forms of fibre, sandwiched in between.
Says chairman of the company, Mr. Anil Jain, “UV&W Products Limited are the first knitwear manufacturers in the world to launch this combination.”
The organic cotton layer next to your body is gentle and soft on your skin and the imported yarn INNOVA –from M/s American Yarns & Fibres, North Carolina, USA, keeps you warm and dry as it wicks away any moisture that gets built up, adding to your comfort.
“Innova has been used in “Extended Cold Weather Clothing System” – ECWCS - by the US Army in extreme cold climes of Alaska and Bosnia.
Innova is even warmer than wool and gives you protection from UV radiations,” says Mr. Jain.
Innova is considered as the benchmark for performance fibres and other fibres are measured against it.
UV&W also offers double chest vest thermals in heavy knit to give you additional protection in extreme cold conditions.
The organic cotton and INNOVA combination is an ideal recipe against allergies for infants. Infants have a skin layer only 1/5th thick as compared to adults, and hence they absorb toxic substances through the skin very fast. Moreover, their liver is not yet developed properly resulting in the toxins not being neutralized sufficiently. This makes them highly susceptible to skin allergies.
These thermals are certified to be upto “Organic Exchange” standards by Control Union Certifications – The Netherlands.
