Apparel exporters enthused by demand for local designs

Bangladeshi apparel exporters are speaking about a surge in demand for local and traditional designs from their overseas buyers as consumers from western countries become more demanding.
Experts aver that, if such demand for innovative designs can be met properly, the country will get a huge advantage in the international apparel business, which can also increase the prospects of a rise in exports.
Traditionally the designs are provided by the buyers as per the prevailing fashion trends, but this changing trend has enthused the exporters, who are now appointing local designers to wet the appetite of the global consumer.
Budding fashion designers of the country are also very excited over the prospects of a better future, since till date, there were very few opportunities available for them, considering that designs were supplied by buyers.
