Privatized garment factory becomes functional

Kosovatex, a garment factory in Prishtina which was privatized earlier, has started manufacturing fabrics and jeans. The factory now employs around 300 persons.
Kosovatex, which intends to develop into a major textile player in the Balkans, mainly produces export oriented items.
It would tie up with international brands, which amongst others would include globally recognized brands like Hugo Boss, Diesel, Levi's, Replay, Otto Kern, Mustang and Pierre Cardin, since the plant meets all the globally recognized standards of the textile and garment industry.
