DRIFIRE to showcase new outerwear products at NSC Expo

DRIFIRE, a leading manufacturer of comfortable FR clothing will be showcasing its newest denim fabric as well as new garment designs featuring DRIFIRE fabric at the upcoming National Safety Council Expo, which will take place Oct. 4 – 6 in San Diego, CA.
Visitors to the 2010 NSC Expo will be able to view DRIFIRE’s full line of flame resistant base layers, head protection items, outerwear, and hi-visibility products as well as a breakthrough, comfortable FR denim fabric. Additionally, conference attendees visiting the DRIFIRE booth will see how DRIFIRE fabrics are being incorporated in new outerwear designs and layering systems.
“Our new denim fabric is just another example of how we continuously innovate to deliver a full range of fabric and garment options to our customers,” said Dustin Cohn, CMO of Optimer Brands, which manufactures DRIFIRE. “Our full range of base layer and outerwear fabrics enables our customers to design garments that complement DRIFIRE’s line, such as pants and jackets, giving wearers an expanded number of options that can be combined into comfortable, highly protective layering systems,” concluded Cohn.
Ken Robertson, Vice-President of Marketing for MWG Apparel echoed Mr. Cohn’s views on DRIFIRE fabrics. “We decided to use mainly DRIFIRE fabrics to develop our new 3 in 1 jacket because we wanted to offer a versatile garment to linemen that will keep them comfortable in all seasons. Using DRIFIRE fabrics allows us to delivers best-in-class comfort through moisture management and permanent protection that give our products an edge in a very competitive marketplace.”
