Interfilière: the trade fair unlike no other

Imagination, fashion and information at the heart of the event!
The General Forum by Concepts Paris which lies at the heart of the fair, the development of brand/mill partnerships for exceptionally high quality exercises in style, the Evolution guide and lectures by design studios all contribute to making Interfilière a trend accelerator.

A good start was made by the "Short Cut" concept initiated in September 2010 which presented a selection of fabrics and accessories suitable for marketing in small quantities; ideal for a brand launch, short-term collection and young designers. It will be renewed and developed further.

The "Fashion Way" is marked out on the floor, showing the route visitors should take to the must-see fashion events and very latest fashion information.

Summer 2012 trends: let's celebrate the imagination!
Comfort, pleasure and attraction are the three strategic "musts" required to prompt the purchasing impulse. It is now Interfilière's turn to go for a Summer 2012 that is inventive, dynamic, astonishing and original. By concentrating so much on perfecting the
body, we have neglected the soul…

Focused on comfort, technical excellence and realism, in other words on function rather than emotion, lingerie lines in particular have forgotten to elicit desire even though it fast-tracks to checkout counters.

Stimulating this desire requires spirit, a story, sparkle and the recreation of a world of dream-inducing pleasure and fantasy.

The most luxurious end of the beachwear industry has fully understood this and now no longer sells only beachwear, but also holidays through the accessories and environments that go with them.

The same goes for the youth market where lingerie is fully incorporated into the wardrobe and is a genuine complement to style and pleasure. Out of context, the most perfect push-up bra is nothing more than a push-up bra and not a promise of sublime seduction. And yet, it's this promise that we urgently need to recreate. In this respect, we should re-examine colors, prints and merchandising. Nothing must be neglected in returning power to the imagination.

In addition to the professionals at the Fair, the four main trends (LADY ASTRAY, BABY GLAM, PRECISION, BOTANICAL WONDERLAND) should affect consumers directly.

Winter 2012/13 trends: the preview
Finally, Interfilière is the only fair in the world to present a preview of the trends for next season (Winter 2012/13). Created a year ago, the event reserved for exhibitors and hand-picked VIP buyers has been phenomenally successful; it is now a firmly established favorite with the profession.
