New adventure & touring motorcycles highlight apparel range

Triumph Motorcycles has launched its latest collection of performance clothing, casualwear and personal accessory gift items. Headlining the collection is the new premium range of touring and adventure apparel, which coincides with this fall's debut of the new Sprint GT sport touring motorcycle and the spring 2011 launch of Triumph's all-new Adventure motorcycles. Each of these new items was designed for riders who demand the very best performing products
• The Sympatex Explorer Jacket and Sympatex Explorer Jeans and Explorer Glove give the ultimate sports touring experience. They are waterproof, windproof and breathable thanks to the Sympatex Performance Membrane.
The jacket includes a detachable storm collar which wraps around the neck and under the chin to keep the wind chill out. An internal storm guard is also included and wraps around the waist to prevent rain and wind from riding up the jacket. The outer shell is a combination of DuPont Cordura and Airtex which gives high levels of abrasion resistance while also maintaining a lightweight and comfortable feel. Inside, the jacket has a removable soft-shell lining which can be removed and used as an independent zip thru.
• For tackling the trails, deserts and mountain passes, the new Adventure Jacket, Adventure Jeans, Adventure Boots and Adventure Gloves have been specifically designed to perform on or off road.
This collection has a multi-purpose design that is comfortable on the road and performs even harder when the rider swaps from the street to the dirt track. The Adventure jacket and jeans are both constructed from 600 denier polycordura, which is lightweight but tough enough to cope with the rigors of enduro riding. Both contain detachable waterproof linings that can be removed with ease but offer high levels of waterproof protection. Zippered ventilation panels allow the rider to control their temperature with vents positioned on the chest, back, underarm, forearm and thigh. The Adventure Boots are an on-road/off-road hybrid with a full leather upper, waterproof construction and molded shin, heel and toe protectors along with fully adjustable buckles for a great fit.
The natural qualities of leather have been combined with the high performance characteristics of a textile waterproof garment and a more discerning, understated sports styling.
