Stitch, the dedicated menswear and accessories trade show, has secured an exciting selection of media partners and brands to show at their SS12 event this August 2011, at the larger, new and improved Earls Court 2 venue.

These brands include internationally established menswear labels such as Pretty Green, Weekend Offender, Original Penguin, Silas, Merc, Supergra, Drunken Monkey, Headworx, Lambretta, Duck & Cover, Sebago, Cushe Footwear, Cat and Skin Shoes (Shoreditch Collection) to name but a few. Some brands showing effuse a sense of heritage and the urban English gent, while others offer the best in European and International design.

Stitch has gone out of its way to ensure that the event itself is an experience, with some great developments lined up in terms of floor plan and engaging elements of the show. The different areas of the Earls Court 2 venue will house various forms of entertainment. A selection of bars will be on offer for the visitors to enjoy a drink while looking through the different collections including a whisky bar, gin bar and a retro cafe, all of which add to the new personality of the Stitch trade show.

Lou Molloy, tattooist to A-listers including David Beckham and star of TV programme London Ink, will work from a special 'studio' section at the show. With some 30 years' experience as a tattoo artist at Manchester's acclaimed Middleton studio, Lou is a tattoo superstar who has recently launched his own menswear collection, combining renaissance art with his tattooing heritage. He is looking forward to being involved in Stitch: "The new creative surrounding Stitch this year is really strong and I'm happy to be part of it. I've always been interested in menswear and this year, with my own collection out, it's obviously even closer to my heart," he said. Lou's award-winning tattoo designs will further add to Stitch's bustling tradeshow itinerary and visitor experience.

The 'Stitch Chop House' refers to the section of the show dedicated to men's grooming. It will offer visitors haircuts, shaves and general grooming advice. Respected industry professionals will be available to discuss any relevant questions with information on the various products dominating the men's grooming market. This barber set up will add another layer to the Stitch experience for the visitor.

Media partners confirmed for the SS12 show include WGSN, Sportswear International, Fashion United, Loaded magazine, Nolcha.com, The Fashion Network, Department Store Buyer and International blogger and photographer Fatsarazzi, who has recently designed a range of apparel with Swedish super street wear brand WeSC. These brands and media partners hint at the new Stitch profile and bold personality within the tradeshow.

Stitch will once again co-locate with Pure Spirit for this year's show, Founder Brian Duffy comments on the partnership saying 'Pure and Stitch really complement each other and both shows have grown as a result of the partnership. Stitch brings a much needed forward thinking level of innovation to the menswear market.'

'For the August event we have some exciting developments lined up in terms of the floor plan and the entertainment element of the show' beams Brian.' We have Anthony Wallace – the creative director of the 40oC show on board to help us take Stitch to the next level. Buyers, press and brands are really going to come away with so much more this year.'

Stitch August will take place from August 7-9, 2011 in Earls Court 2, London.
