JOCKEY India, publicly listed as Page Industries Ltd, will set up a garment factory in Odisha’s Khordha with an investment of ₹257.5 crore, providing employment to 3,500. The project is part of the six new investment proposals worth ₹1,753.82 crore approved recently at the 87th State Level Single Window Clearance Authority meeting to generate employment.

Other proposals approved are food processing, metal and metal downstream, plastics and tourism sectors, according to Indian media reports.

Founded in 1995 by the Genomal family, Bengaluru-based Page Industries became a public enterprise in July 2007.

It is the exclusive licensee of JOCKEY International Inc. (USA) for manufacture, distribution and marketing of the JOCKEY brand in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates. It is also the exclusive licensee of Speedo International Ltd. for the manufacture, marketing and distribution of the Speedo brand in India.
