The fitness movement in India continues to be an urban phenomenon that needs to be democratised on a larger scale, according to Rock It founder Rishabh Oswal, who feels it is important to have a pan-India visibility for any activewear brand. Rock It, launched in 2017 by Ludhiana-based Monte Carlo Fashions, hopes to achieve that through online presence.
Activewear is no longer limited to the gym and yoga rooms, as people are comfortable wearing those for regular occasions like a quick catch-up with friends or late-night movies. Novelties like mesh leggings, yoga pants, joggers and track pants are high on demand. Oswal told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
