SBS Zipper has bagged Bluesign certification for its commitment towards safe and sustainable production of zippers. The company is committed to eco-friendly production, minimizing and eliminating any negative impacts on environment at every step of the zipper manufacturing process. The certification has affirmed the company's position as a leading global zipper supplier

"We are very proud to be the only zipper manufacturer in China whose entire production lines have been certified to date. We are proud to carry the Bluesign certification and be a guarantee of quality and sustainable production worldwide. We will stick to implementing the very highest environmental standards both in our production as well as in our supply chain," said the company in a statement.

The company has been actively involved in the contribution towards sustainable solutions. More than $5 million has been invested for the wastewater treatment centre. At present, SBS Zipper is working on developing a new dyeing technology - the supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2). This environment friendly technology will remove the discharge of harmful liquid during the dyeing process.

Moreover, the company is also looking for solutions to enhance the quality of its zippers. The company is in a constant effort in developing cutting-edge technologies and using raw materials of high standard to improve the efficiency of zippers. (RR)
