With the launch of its first outlet in Kashmir Valley, V-Mart has become the country's first-ever leading supermarket retail chain to open a store in the Valley, and intends to launch five more shops shortly.
The new outlet in the Valley has been opened in Srinagar's commercial nerve centre, near Jehangir Chowk.
Various items including women's wear, kids wear, men's wear, groceries, footwear, luggage, accessories, home furnishings, crockery, plastic goods and kitchen appliances are all being made available in the new store.
The company intends to make shopping a more enjoyable experience and hence intends to launch five more outlets in Jammu and Kashmir, which would generate job opportunities for youth in the state, and also present the buyers with better shopping opportunities.
