Valerie Lavion becomes executive director at Li & Fung

Valerie Lavion has been appointed executive director by Li & Fung. She will lead its Children’s Wear Platform and Department Stores in North America. With about 20 years of international experience in branded apparel, department stores and specialty retail, Lavion will help the company drive speed, digitalisation and innovation across its business.

Lavion will report to Carmen Chau, president, Li & Fung Supply Chain Solutions.

Based in Hong Kong, Lavion has held several senior management roles at companies including Ann Taylor, Mast Industries, Victoria’s Secret, Kids R Us, Kohls and Sears over the course of her career. She is not new to Hong Kong, having worked there previously for two years during her time with Mast Industries.
