Wichita varsity names Under Armour as official outfitter

Beginning from July 1, 2017, marketer of performance footwear, apparel and equipment Urban Armour, will be the official outfitter of Wichita State University. Under Armour will provide on field and training gear for 15 varsity sports under the eight year agreement, and will also outfit, members of the athletic department including coaches and staff.

The agreement for baseball, women's basketball and golf begins in 2017-18, men's basketball and cross country/track in 2018-19, tennis in 2019-20; and volleyball and softball in 2020-21.

The agreement includes marketing rights that will complement Under Armour's brand marketing campaigns through print and venue presence at the University.

"We are excited to welcome Wichita State University Athletics to the Under Armour family and look forward to providing best-in-class training and game-day footwear, apparel and equipment to the Shocker student-athletes and the entire Wichita State community," said Sean Sullivan, director of collegiate sports marketing, Under Armour.
