Wolf & Badger plan New York store following Brexit

UK multi brand fashion retailer Wolf & Badger is crossing the Atlantic and opening a store in New York and at the same time, has frozen plans to open another London store. This move has come following the Brexit vote earlier this year. The independent fashion retailer, which also has an ecommerce portal, currently operates two stores in London.
The New York store expected to open next February will have a curated edition of independent designer brands from the US, in addition to introducing many European brands to the US market for the first time.
The selection at the 2,500 square foot store will include both men's and women's apparel, jewellery and accessories.
“With Brexit looming and the UK entering a period of uncertainty, we are extremely pleased to be entering the US market and facilitating continued opportunities for independent labels even if the European market starts to close up,” co-founder George Graham said. (AR)
