ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (ONGPL), a 50:50 Joint Venture Company of NTPC Green Energy Limited and ONGC Green Limited, has completed the acquisition of 100% equity stake in Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited on 27th March 2025.Ayana, a leading renewable energy platform, has capacity of approx. 4112 MW (2123 MW of operational and 1989 MW under-construction assets), strategically located across resource-rich states. Its portfolio is backed by high-credit-rated off-takers such as SECI, NTPC, GUVNL, and Indian Railways.
ONGPL, a 50:50 JV of NTPC Green Energy and ONGC Green, acquired 100 per cent equity in Ayana Renewable Power on March 27, 2025.
Ayana has 4,112 MW capacity (2,123 MW operational, 1,989 MW under construction) across key states.
With this, NTPC Green Energy's total operating capacity reaches 5.9 GW, including subsidiaries and JVs.
