Brandix exclusive apparel designs on the catwalk

Organized by the Academy of Design - in association with Sri Lanka Apparel, the EDB and the Ministry of Industrial Development - with the objectives of exemplifying and gaining international acknowledgment for Sri Lankan art and design, the Sri Lanka Design Festival seeks to provide a blend of artistic, principled and imaginative fashion shows, conferences, design exhibitions and workshops, all based on the fascinating craft heritage of Sri Lanka and its manufacturing industry. The festival's role is to link the country's creative culture with a specifically invited global audience.

The pioneer of the concept of 'total solutions' in Sri Lanka's apparel sector, Brandix is also a benchmark and international award winner for eco-friendly manufacture and commitment to environmental best practice. The Group's core CSR programme, revolving around the central theme of water and sanitation, has provided clean water supply infrastructure to thousands of needy families throughout the whole of Sri Lanka. Brandix was also the first apparel manufacturer to support the government's efforts to rebuild the economy of the eastern province when it invested Rs 250 million in a factory at Punani in the Batticaloa District.
