2 min read

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the global economy and business operations as well. As a result, consumer behaviour is likely to be affected permanently even after the crisis. A forthcoming webinar, being organised by online portal Fibre2Fashion along with Centric Software, will dwell on the key to staying ahead of the competition in the changed scenario.

Lockdown in countries across the world due to Covid-19 pandemic is causing brands/retailers to postpone/cancel their orders placed with manufacturers. Further, factory shutdowns and labourers not returning to work amidst health fear has hampered the overall supply chain. Post-crisis too, some changes may linger on. For example, work-from-home may become a new trend.

The webinar, to be conducted by Nick Wei, regional sales director at Centric Software, will discuss the changes likely to show up post-crisis; how digitalisation/virtualisation will be like in the fashion industry; how to better collaborate and communicate with buyers using cloud-based platform; how to effectively streamline pre-production process, reduce cost, speed time to market and drive business growth; rethinking supply chain management; and how Centric PLM empowers workforce with cloud-based digital collaboration tools such as the New Centric Quick-Start Collaboration Packages for COVID-19 Rapid Response.

During the webinar, Centric team will show how, on average, Centric’s customers increased sales by 5-10 per cent, launched products to market 15-50 per cent faster, reduced logistics costs by 10-15 per cent and reduced waste by 20-40 per cent.
