Before the year comes to an end, the ministry of Manpower Youth and Employment aims to implement the trade and vocation module under the National Youth Employment Program (NYEP).
According to the ministry the module has immense potential to employ both skilled and unskilled youth in constructive and endurable ventures.
Some of the most important components of the module are bead making, hairdressing, tailoring, batik, tie and dye. The other remaining includes textile design and garment manufacturing, needle work, craft, handicraft and kente cloth weaving.
NYEP is essentially a government initiative serving the objective of providing employment to the country's youth that will in the long run, help sustain ad develop the social and economic conditions of Ghana.
The Government assures to cooperate with the stake holders for achieving its goal and has pleaded the private sector to join hands for lighten the weight of unemployment in the country.
