rue21 hires Pam O'Connor as SVP of Human Resources

rue21 inc, the Warrendale, PA based specialty value teen retailer for girls and guys with 375 stores in 41 states is pleased to announce the hiring of Pamela O'Connor as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. O'Connor brings more than 25 years of human resources experience.
Most recently, O'Connor served as the Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Wet Seal Inc, a teen specialty retailer based in Orange County, CA.
Her expertise is in all areas of specialty retailing human resources including talent acquisition, employee development and retention, and acquisitions in publicly traded companies.
"Pam O'Connor will add the expertise to our senior management group that will take us to the next level in associate development and hiring the right people as we continue our rapid expansion and growth," noted Bob Fisch, President & CEO of rue21 inc.
rue21 inc, operates its headquarters at 800 Commonwealth Drive, Warrendale, PA which is a 35,000 SF new building that the Company relocated to in February, 2006. The company is continuing to experience rapid growth, opening 100 new stores this year.
