British retail and intellectual property group Frasers Group has announced that it has acquired a 28.7 per cent holding in the Australia-based fashion marketplace, MySale plc. MySale connects global buyers and sellers to Australian and New Zealand e-commerce sites.

“The Group believes this creates an opportunity for a strategic partnership whereby end of line Group products can be cleared via an established clearance channel. This pipeline will be further enhanced by the benefits of counter seasonality between the European and Australian climates,” Frasers Group said in a media release.

MySale is an international online retailer with established retail websites in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia. Founded in 2007, the Group provides customers with access to outstanding brands and products at discounted prices whilst simultaneously providing brand partners unique international inventory and sales solutions.

The core product categories of MySale are womenswear, menswear, footwear, sports, health and beauty, homewares, technology and personalised gifts.
