Amazon doing 'extremely well' in India: CEO Jeff Bezos

Hoping for regulatory stability in India, Amazon founder and chief executive officer Jeff Bezos recently said the e-commerce company is doing ‘extremely well’ in the country and the business is ‘growing very rapidly’. He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his induction into the National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC recently.
He ruled out running for the 2020 US presidential election, according to a news agency report.
Amazon is pumping in over $600 million to its various units in India, including marketplace and food retail to provide them more ammunition to compete against rival Flipkart. Bezos had committed investment worth $5 billion in the Indian market in 2016.
