Apparel brand Banana Republic and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) are partnering for the second time, on a limited edition capsule collection created by artist and fashion designer Greg Lauren. The Greg Lauren for Banana Republic menswear collection has been launched at select Banana Republic stores December 2016 onwards.

Both these entities had earlier collaborated by launching a women's capsule spring 2016 collection, created with New York-based designer Timo Weiland.

The Greg Lauren for Banana Republic menswear collection will include 16 pieces and consists of lounge pants in knit and wool; outerwear like a relaxed flight jacket, mixed media jackets, a luxe cashmere top coat; as well as a casual tuxedo jacket and pant with linen tuxedo shirt.

The assortment also includes a cotton sweatshirt and henley long-sleeve shirts and the collection has been created using Banana Republic base fabrics, like cotton twill. (AR)
