Manish Malhotra to usher in LFW Summer/Resort 2016

Acclaimed fashion and costume designer for some of the most iconic names in the movie industry, Manish Malhotra will open Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2016 in association with Reliance LYF in Mumbai, Lakme said in a press release.
Manish Malhotra celebrates 25 years as a costume designer and 10 years of his eponymous label. This offsite show scheduled for March 29, opens the season for LFW Summer/Resort 2016.
Known for his unique creative vision and master craftsmanship, Manish has completed 25 years of being India's most celebrated designer.
Starting his design career with Bollywood movies, Manish revolutionized the fashion scene in B-town with his stylized costumes. The avant-garde designer weaves his magic on the runways with his stunning garments year after year. His luxe creations made with intricate detailing, marrying traditional designs and contemporary looks, exude a regal magnificence. An amalgamation of rich fabrics, delicate hand-embroidery with flawless finesse, Manish's garments are a sartorial perfection.
“Over the years each of my shows at Lakme have grown to be landmark events in their own right. I am excited to be doing the Jio LYF show this season. I will be showcasing my new Summer Resort '16 collection which is based on 'Elements of Nature – Air, Earth, Fire and Water'. It gives me great pleasure to open yet another fabulous season at Lakme Fashion Week,” said Manish.
