Levis Strauss introduces 100% cotton iron free trousers

Leading brand Levi Strauss and Co is seeking expansion Indian retail market, The company has re-launched its Dockers Brand with a offering cotton trousers that doesn't ness to be ironed.

Shumone Chatterjee Levi Head in India explained that the Dockers has re invented itself into a stylish, hassle free attire collection for men.

Levi Strauss revenue has been raised up to 60 % in the first half the fiscal year starting December 2004 and targeted uphold the new Dockers Brand, which has been less introduced in the Indian market.

Crease free trousers have been followed by US launch after a couple of months. Engineered with a fabulous fabric and finish that gave the trousers a luxurious straight from dry cleaner look, including a permanent crease, it will be launched in Banglore city initially, then after taken to other parts of the country.

Chattejee informed that by the end of 2007 Levi Strauss would have over 150 retail outlets of its own and besides the other national chain retailers have a total sales area of nearly 200,000 sq ft as against the current 50,000 sq ft.

Hong Kong based TAL holdings has designed the proprietary technology. The Never Iron 100 per cent cotton pants were the newest ground breaking product innovation, unique from previous generations of wrinkle free or wrinkle resistant pants.
