The ninth edition of MarediModa Intimo marks a turning point in the history of this exhibition dedicated to collections for beachwear and underwear presented by the most qualified European companies.

The claim “Europeans do it Better” which appeared on the world press campaign could, in perfect timing, accompanies changes of mind and headaches of those who went through negative experiences in the so called “low cost” countries, proving once for ever that margins are out of questions when talking about quality, ethics, history and future of a product.

A new feeling for an antique vocation which has been able to attract new exhibitors for the next edition counting now 100 exhibitors. White booths for a new, ethereal look, like precious frames for textile artworks will give a touch of refined pureness to the exhibition. “Vintage Holidays from 30's to 80's” handled by the famous collector Franco Jacassi. An evocative trip through the beachwear history told by original swimsuits on a background of wonderful images. Unique and unobtainable items worn by stars and starlets of the last century coming from the most world famous fashion houses.

Trend forecast and anticipation about the beachwear and underwear future will be presented, also this year, by Stylesight, the leading web forecaster in terms of innovation and credibility. A Trend Forum totally conceived and realized by Stylesight to offer a simple, effective and dynamic consultation in a unique, spectacular setting the only one among specialized exhibitions.

A wide space dedicated to the Outsourcing Show, an idea born in Cannes, which boast unsuccessful attempts of imitation, to connect the most qualified Euro-Med manufacturers with the Europeans ones.

Collateral events to live up the morning of the first trade-show day such as a workshop with international guest about creativity whilst the winners of the talent scouting contest THE LINK, involving more than one hundred European universities of fashion design and advertising, will be celebrated on the second day.

THE TEXTILE DESK IS TAKING OFF
The project TEXTILE DESK is taking off thanks to the active support of MarediModa, in cooperation with Made In Carcere, the first and unique system of collecting unused fabrics to make clothes, bags and accessories made by female prisoners in specialized laboratories. A second chance, another opportunity for prisoners and a double life for fabrics and objects.
