75 Italian firms partake in MU China pavilion at Intertextile

75 Italian fabric and apparel accessories companies are showcasing their Fall/Winter 2017-2018 collections during the ongoing Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics trade show in the MU China Pavilion in hall 6.2. Besides menswear fabrics, MU China exhibitors are also providing a strong womenswear offer, a segment undergoing high growth in China.
According to the organisers of the MU pavilion, despite the decline in GDP, Chinese consumers still account for nearly half the global luxury market and the purchasing power is growing.
“This is accounted for by the export data of Italian textiles to China, especially wool and linen, which has registered a 1 per cent growth rate,” they added. (AR)
