Cappasity and Philadelphia Fashion Incubator join hands
Mar '18
Cappasity has joined hands with the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator at Macy’s Center City to allow its designers to showcase their fashion in 3D. With this, the incubator’s participants will be able to display their collections to a wider audience. Customers will be able to enjoy new collections, study materials and designs in photorealistic 3D views.

Philadelphia Fashion Incubator is a one-year programme which features several annually-selected Designers-in-Residence (DIR). This year, there will be 10 fashion companies ranging from womenswear to bridal, childrenswear to activewear. These designers will be provided with access to office and design/work space, a showroom, curriculum, mentoring, and other important resources in an effort to help them launch and further grow their companies in the City of Philadelphia.

The programme commences in March, with a webinar conducted by Cappasity team being scheduled for the end of March. During the webinar, Natalie Reyes, Cappasity’s CSO, will introduce the technology to the Incubator’s students, run a demo of 3D imaging technology for fashion brands and announce a contest for students. The winner of the contest will be awarded a year-long professional subscription plan for the Cappasity services.

“The purpose of the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator is to support and promote emerging fashion designers and the fashion community of Philadelphia. We dedicate our resources to young designers to help them set up their businesses, get on solid ground and ensure their future success. We are glad that now we can provide them with access to a new cutting-edge technology allowing to showcase their fashion in 3D and attract more clients,” said Elissa Bloom, executive director at the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator.

“Setting up fashion business is always fraught with many obstacles. We are pleased to help young designers at Philadelphia Fashion Incubator to stand out in the market as 3D imaging integrations will give them an the opportunity to increase conversion by 30 per cent or even 40 per cent,” said Kosta Popov, Cappasity CEO.
