Mobile app Crown-it, a growing online to offline (O2O) platform with an 8 lakh consumer base, is set to add a fashion category to its wide basket of offerings ranging from movie tickets to pharmacy for people across Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

According to Sameer Grover, Founder and CEO, Crown-it, the company has partnered with about 25 leading Indian fashion brands and some 50 regional players to make the launch of the merchant-mix model successful for users in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru to begin with.

Outlining the reasons for foraying into fashion, Grover said, “Fashion has the power to catapult sales in a competitive digital space and we didn't want to lose out on the immense potential it holds. So, we're offering our customers an opportunity to get their favourite brands home on attractive discounts. The good news is that no one will now have to wait for the sale season… By choosing the Crown-it app, they get to save on apparel and accessory purchases all around the year.”

Launched in mid-2014, Crown-it has seen widespread growth across seven cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Crown-it offers its users crowns or cashback at local merchants which customers can by shopping online, booking movie tickets, paying their bills and much more. The retail program claims that over 8 Lac users and 15,000 merchants are listed on its O2O platform. (SH)
