Denims with Tencel to be displayed at Denim Days

Denims with Tencel branded fibres will be at show at the Denim Days, the celebration of all things denim, which will be held in New York City during September 22-23 and Nashville, Tennessee during November 10-11. Tencel branded cellulosic fibres for denim are made from responsibly harvested wood in an environmentally friendly production process.

With Tencel brand fibres in jeans, one can be kinder to the environment and can kick back with a totally clear conscience.

Denim Days brings together the true-blue community of denim enthusiasts in a festival atmosphere with vintage markets, live music, inspiring speakers, demonstrations, hands on workshops, kids’ games and activities, and culinary delights by some of the top local eateries.

One can shop at the Tencel branded booth for special denim items from the fabulous designers and brands who are dedicated to reducing the environmental footprint of the world’s favourite fabric without sacrificing a single one of the bazillion things one loves about denim.

At display will be Scott Morrison-designed women’s jeans with Tencel fibres using the latest sustainable washes. Adriano Goldschmied has created an exclusive Denim Days T-shirt with Tencel branded lyocell fibres. These will also be showcased.
Other attractions include Mavi’s supersoft women’s denim in a full range of washes. Mavi will have additional styles available in their own Denim Days store.

Edit Denim will showcase men’s denim made with Tencel branded fibres, all made in North America from fibres to finished garments by Kaltex. Known for their quirky pronouncements on saving the Earth, Reformation will present women’s lifestyle dressing with Tencel fibres in denim and knits.

As a special treat, at the New York Denim Days event there will be close and personal tête-à-tête with three of the brightest minds in denim. The event, the Evolution of Denim + A Peek at the Future, will feature Adriano Goldschmied, the true godfather of denim; Scott Morrison, a serial entrepreneur behind brands like 3x1, Paper Denim & Cloth, and Earnest Sewn; and Jordan Nodarse of Reformation, a young visionary in sustainable denim. Tricia Carey, director of global business development for denim at Lenzing will have a conversation with these three about the evolution of denim and what they see coming down the pike for jeans.
