The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced the luxury lifestyle decor brand, Spaces Home & Beyond as the Gold partner for the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2016 as they gear up to present Kolkata-based designer Anamika Khanna. The five-day festival of fashion is scheduled from October 7-11 at the NSIC Grounds in New Delhi.

Spaces Home & Beyond is a premium bed, bath and coordinates brand by Welspun.

Anamika, the queen of luxe, celebrates the intricacy of fashion by curating timeless pieces of sheer splendor, making her ideal for this eclectic collaboration, according to a statement by FDCI.

“We are pleased to partner with Spaces Home & Beyond for the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2016. Designing spaces, like fashion is all about proportions and Anamika understands the nuances, making her one of the few who can merge modern with traditional elements without losing context,” said Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI.

Anamika began her career by winning the Damania Fashion Award in 1995, and has also designed for Bollywood blockbusters like Aisha, Dilli 6, Mausam, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Dipali Goenka, CEO and Executive Director, Welspun India Ltd. and Managing Director, Welspun Global Brands Ltd said, “We are excited to be associated with Amazon India Fashion Week as I believe that fashion is an extension of an individual's lifestyle. Expressing their emotion and depicting it in their personal space, is a way of conveying their experiences and passion. Through this collaboration, Spaces Home & Beyond will be creating a home couture destination that has hi-fashion props which reveal their unique art form and reeks to find the inner designer in you. This will also be seen with Spaces Home & Beyond presenting designer Anamika Khanna who is known for bringing personal style to fashion.” (SH)
