Goodwear Fashions to show interlining solutions at ASW

ASW2020 has partnered with Goodwear Fashions Pvt Ltd – an eminent brand which has pioneered the manufacturing of high-end, world-class woven and knitted interlinings in India.

A true 'Make in India' initiative, Goodwear Fashions began its journey over a decade ago, in 2007, and today it has become a well-known name in the industry offering international quality interlining solutions. Interlinings are fused to the outer shell of garments to give fall and drape to structured garments of high value like jackets, suit jackets, leather jackets, overcoats, blouses, shirts, trousers, ladies suit, etc.

Goodwear’s Fuseline provides the perfect interlining for a wide variety of outer-shell suit fabrics. Kanzen renders a fine finish and fall to cuffs, collars and plackets of a modern shirt. Lazer promises impeccable fall and drape to the garment through excellent suit interlinings.

Currently, the established companies supply around 20-25 per cent of demand, and the rest of the demand is being fulfilled by cheap, low quality Chinese imports. The value proposition of both types of suppliers is not really satisfactory for garment factories. Goodwear Fashions, being a local producer, can give Oeko-Tex certified, good high-performance products, with consistent quality at a reasonable price. Plus, our ability to supply small lots off the shelf anywhere in India sets us apart. Also, we are able to offer interlinings with GRS certified yarns. We expect to be registered shortly – which will allow us to issue GRS Transaction certificates directly to our customers. This mid-market value proposition is invaluable in today's fast moving and competitive market," said Kapoor.
