Michael Kors appoints Leoni as chief brand officer

Michael Kors Holding Limited, a global fashion luxury group having leading iconic brands in design, style and craftsmanship, has appointed Francesca Leoni as the senior vice president, chief brand officer. Leoni will be reporting to John Idol, chairman and chief executive officer of the company. She will assume her role from February 5, 2018.

Francesca Leoni has over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. Previously, she was the worldwide communications director at Valentino. She was responsible for the development and implementation of global communication initiatives and events, including public relations and marketing there. Before Valentino, Leoni worked at positions such as worldwide public relations and events director, senior director of public relations and cultural events.

“Francesca Leoni is an outstanding addition to our team. She has tremendous experience in the communications and marketing arena with luxury brands, and is the ideal choice to communicate the company’s vision, drive collaboration and inspire our global consumers,” commented Michael Kors.
