New Look official partner of London Fashion Week

High street fashion retailer New Look has been announced as the official partner of the London Fashion Week (LFW) slated to be held next month. The retailer has also partnered with the British Fashion Council (BFC) to support the fashion event and will launch a collection of 20 womenswear products designed by its in-house team called ‘The Edit’.

New Look will be hosting a launch party along with some in-store events at its flagship store on Oxford Street in London. These events will be followed by similar ones in Birmingham and Manchester.

The retailer has sponsored LFW with a view to boost its fashion credentials, after it witnessed a drop of 60.3 per cent in the operating profits during the first quarter.

“At New Look, we want to make the latest fashion accessible for everyone, which is why we are really excited to be embarking on such a prestigious partnership with the BFC and LFW. This iconic international fashion moment provides the perfect platform for us to offer our global audience style inspiration and demonstrate who we are as a brand – our personality, individuality, and dedication to self-expression – as we continue to elevate our fashion credentials,” said Anders Kristiansen, chief executive, New Look.
