IIJS 2006 promises to be a bigger and better show with a exhibitors, visitors and host to delegations representing key and emerging international markets such as Saudi Arabia , Thailand , Holland and Poland in addition to the regular visitors from established markets.
Organized annually by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), IIJS has become Asia 's second largest and amongst the top five B2B gem and jewellery trade fairs in the world.
The Council is an effective link between foreign buyers interested in importing gems & jewellery from India via appropriate Indian exporters. If the foreign party writes to the Council indicating the items they wish to import from India, this information is circulated among Council members and the corresponding replies from Indian exporters along with product details reach them promptly.
