Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair is the perfect place to open brilliant business opportunities as visitors to last September's show will attest.
Over 32,700 buyers attended this show organized by the Department of Export Promotion (DEP) and the Thai Gem & Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA).
The exhibition was held at Impact Exhibition & Convention Center with 1,212 companies exhibiting in 3,063 booths featuring gold and silver jewelry, rough and cut diamonds and gemstones, and included pearls as well as machinery, equipment and packaging suppliers.
The top five countries visiting the show were from India, USA, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia.
The fair opened up the opportunity for many international buyers to see new designs from Thai manufacturers and designers all under one roof in the 60,000 sqm exhibition hall at Impact Exhibition and Convention Center.
The fair houses one of the widest selections of products with exhibitors not only from Thailand but also from Japan, Hong Kong, China, India, Germany, the USA and many others.
The Bangkok fair is well known for its many special pavilions presenting the finest gold, platinum and silver jewelry, rare and unusual gemstones along with displays of uniquely cut gemstones and diamonds.
The Hot Design Pavilion showcases new designs by leading exhibitors drawing a great deal of interest from internationalvisitors. The Thai Silver Exporters Club also draws large crowds with a display of its members' finest silver jewelry creations.
