Karen Millen & COAST show at JFW

The London-based Karen Millen just celebrated its 30 year anniversary and for The Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW, it will show its 2011 fall and winter collection. Expect plenty of minimalist silhouettes with strong finishing. Coast is a new entrant in Indonesia's fashion retail scene and it will present its extremely wearable collections.
Karen Millen was founded in 1981 by Kevin Stanford and Karen Millen. With a loan of just £100 they began manufacturing and selling white shirts to their friends. A party plan network followed, and in 1983 they opened their first store in Kent.
The Coast story began in 1996, and since then our passion for excellence in style and service has taken us on a very exciting journey. Since we began, our philosophy has always remained the same. We're dedicated to creating and providing beautifully designed, quality garments for the special times in your life.
The Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) is Indonesia's definitive fashion event, held annually to showcase Indonesian fashion design talents as well as the progress of its burgeoning fashion and creative industry.
Jakarta Fashion Week is on and will run till 18 November at the Pacific Place Shopping Mall in South Jakarta.
