Ensign jewellery training program for DGR

Design institute Ensign informed that it will impart gems and jewellery design training to retiring defense personnel.
As per a MoU signed between the gems and jewellery designing training centre and Director General of Resettlement (DGR) under the Defense Ministry, the move is aimed at enabling the defence personnel get post-retirement employment.
The training was a part of the new initiative taken by the DGR, the company said in a statement.
Courses on information technology, managerial science, technical skills and agro-based industries were also included in the new arrangement, it said.
At the Ensign institute, the training would include short and long term certificate and diploma courses in various gems and jewllery designs, the company said.
