JJ Vallaya to enthrall spectators at WIFW grand finale

Wills Lifestyle, ITC's premium fashion brand announced JJ Vallaya as the grand finale designer for WIFW A/W'12 edition. The veteran couturier is all set to grace the finale stage with a collection that is an amalgamation of the rich past and the glorious future in a fitting tribute to unforgettable years of Indian Fashion at WIFW.

Atul Chand, Divisional Chief Executive, ITC's Lifestyle Retailing Business Division, said, “Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale is a mix of fashion and drama and every year we strive to make it a great experience full of entertainment. The grand finale has always set new benchmarks in creativity and has showcased the best of Indian fashion talent.”

Mr. Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “JJ Vallaya is one of the most celebrated designer in the country and he's sure to astound the fashionistas with his unconventional style and innovative silhouettes at the grand finale show.”

Speaking on the occasion, JJ Vallaya said, “My label completes twenty years in the fashion industry and I want to thank fashion week for giving me platform to explore my designing skills. I am very excited to do the Grand Finale this season. The collection will be based on Ottoman Empire but will be a ready to wear line; a happy mix of Indian and Western lines. It will be very colorful starting from beiges and moving to brighter tones.” Says Vallaya about the finale collection

The Wills Lifestyle Grand Finale will bring down the curtains on Asia's biggest and India's premiere fashion & trade event Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week on Sunday, 19 February 2012 in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan.
