World's Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, Cabela's Incorporated announced that David A Roehr, its Executive Vice President and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of World's Foremost Bank, Cabela's wholly-owned credit card bank subsidiary, has retired to pursue other interests and spend more time with family, effective immediately.
'He has enjoyed his close personal relationship with the company's founders, Dick and Jim Cabela, who have provided him the opportunity to be part of such a successful and dynamic business,' said Roehr.
'He would especially like to thank the employees at World's Foremost Bank for all of their hard work and dedication, and congratulate them on the tremendous growth and success of the Bank over the last several years.
At this point in his career, He has accomplished the goals he set for him and Cabela's.
The time is right for him to explore other personal and professional opportunities."
