Did you fall for those 'Catty Looks' or simply 'Nekome' in Japanese? Check this!
There are twin trends off the block for this season in Japan, called 'little devils' and 'cat's eyes.'
On line with the '50 Bridgette Bardot's screen stealer looks from 'And God Created Woman' (1956) to present day popular Koakuma na Onna ni Naru Hoho (How to Become a Little Devil), that appeared on Japanese bookshelves in May 2004; women have just not stopped.
The style follwed where a cat's eye makeup lights up eyes of actresses like Shibasaki Kou and Ito Misaki who have set afire, imagination and eyes of Japanese women through their almond-eyed looks.
How does it all begin then, is the question!
Well, just take an eyeliner to mark area all around the eye and extending slightly beyond the outer corner, in an upward direction.
Apply mascara and eye shadow in that order, with eye shadow color offering that sexy, intellectual, or feminine air, appropriate to the ocassion one looks forward to!
So go ahead, and get that feline look in all hues; blue, gray and gold!
