Footwear and textile/garments, two major export products of Vietnam, faced many challenges in 2005.
As Vietnamese leather-capped shoes panelized with anti-dumping lawsuit, export revenue plunged to Euro 360 million.
In the same manner, export revenue went down to about 7.7 percent to Euro 125 million even after the European Union (EU) eliminated textile-garment quota restrictions for Vietnam.
