Gucci hosts first ever fashion show in China

Yesterday Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini marked her return to Shanghai with three exclusive events throughout the day. At the historic Wai Tan Yuan, Giannini hosted a lunchtime cocktail to launch the House's new advertising campaign starring Chinese actress Li Bing Bing. In the evening at Wai Tan Yuan, Giannini held her first-ever fashion show in China and showed her critically acclaimed Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Collection on the runway for more than 500 guests.
A private party followed on the Rock Bund at the Gucci Club – spanning three floors with DJ sets by 2ManyDJs, Michel Gaubert, Isaac Ferry and an exclusive live performance by Bryan Ferry. Party-goers had the opportunity to view a display of Gucci Première evening gowns from the House's Florentine archive, including the couture dress worn by Hilary Swank to the 2011 Oscars Ceremony.

Frida Giannini wore Gucci Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Look 25 black floral printed silk crepe long-sleeved cocktail dress with pleated neckline and gathered detail at the front at the Gucci Club.
Li Bing Bing wore a Gucci one of a kind lavender beaded strapless cocktail dress with 18kt white gold and diamond horsebit cocktail ring, black and gold evening clutch, and pale pink satin high heels.
Hilary Swank wore Gucci Spring/Summer 2012 look 30 black satin georgette long sleeved kimono dress with gold beaded waist detail, black suede studded clutch, black high heeled peep toe booties, 18K pink gold and black diamond horsebit earrings and 18K pink gold and black diamond horsebit cocktail ring.
Performer Bryan Ferry wore a Gucci midnight blue notch lapel two button Signoria tuxedo with satin trim, white dress shirt, navy satin tie and black leather lace ups.
DJ Isaac Ferry wore a Gucci Spring/Summer 2012 navy Stafford check notch lapel two button Marseille blazer with white fitted dress shirt, navy and white slim tie, denim trousers and navy high top sneakers with signature web detail to the fashion show. At the Gucci Club, Ferry wore a Gucci grey checked peak lapel two button suit with white fitted dress shirt, /denim trousers, pale blue slim tie / black and white slim tie and white high top sneakers with signature web detail.
2manydjs Stephen Dewaele wore a Gucci black peak lapel one button Marseille tuxedo with a white dress shirt black satin slim tie and black patent leather lace up shoes.
2manydjs David Dewaele wore a Gucci black peak lapel one button Marseille tuxedo with a white dress shirt, black and red checked bowtie and black patent leather lace up shoes.
DJ Wladimir Schall wore a Gucci Spring Summer 2012 black lurex cardigan with black dress shirt, gold bowtie, black slim leg trousers and black leather lace ups.
Tamara Falco wore Gucci Pre Fall 2012-13 Look 18 ashiban degrade printed silk georgette long sleeved dress with gathered detail at the fashion show. At the Gucci Club, Falco wore Pre Fall 2012-13 look 42 sleeveless black satin georgette gown with plunging neckline and embroidered detail at the waist.
