Jewelry retailer Elegant Illusions Dec revenue down 22%

California based jewelry retailer Elegant Illusions Inc announced that total revenues for December 2005 were down approximately 22 percent from total revenues for December 2004.
Same store revenues for December 2005 were down 29 percent from December 2004.
The store on Bourbon St, located in New Orleans reopened for business in the beginning of December.
The Riverwalk location in New Orleans remains closed.
The loss of sales from these stores has had a major negative impact on same store and Company wide revenues for the period.
Company wide figures are based on the revenues of 22 stores in 2005 versus revenues of 22 stores in 2004.
Elegant Illusions Inc is engaged primarily in the created gem and copy jewelry business with 22 specialty stores across the continental United States.
