Henry Alvavez debuts 1970s Olympic references at TNG

TNG – Winter 2006 Collection
Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) informed that the creative Henry Alvavez (former-Zoomp) made his presentation collection at TNG by bringing Olympic sport references (from the end of the 70s) such as fencing, gymnastics, track and field among other modalities, to the walkways.

Comfort and flexibility are the collection's strong points, which also permits some volumes, especially with the wide sleeves, bouffant pants and loose sweatshirts.

The waists, following next season's strong trend, have risen and are well-defined.

Floral designs appear here and there with the application of sequins. Special attention is given to the key pieces such as knit body suits and beaten jeans.

The daring touch is in the knitted panties.

ABIT stimulates the evolution of the sector coordinating relevant initiatives in the social and environmental areas, besides sponsoring the sustainable growth of the Brazilian textile industry.
