Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) informed that Bahia stylist Márcia Ganem does not deny her origins.

To the sound of candomblé songs, the collection of dresses and skirts gained more sophisticated volume became more romantic, without forgoing the brand's traditional and patient handicraft work. Márcia, who likes to work with textures, gave lace extra power in this winter version.

The more rustic natural fibers structured some of the pieces, especially the short jackets and corselets. Experiments with dyes continue, however the collection's colors are monochromatic with off white, black, red and purple.

ABIT objective is to make the Brazilian textile industry stronger in the globalized and competitive market.

For Márcia Ganem, the women constitute the center of its creations. From the discovery and use of the knot tram, it she starts to speak in the collections of Goddesses of some mythologies, that represent the force of the natural elements, Oxum - water candy; Juacema - Land; Madame Skin - fire, covering diverse cultures, the African, the Brazilian aboriginal and in this last collection the Polynesian culture.
