The Who is On Next? Pitti Uomo Award goes to Er?k Bjerkesjö

A great talent presenting a complete and original proposal, a mature project based on careful research into materials and shapes.

A personal and professional story that began in Sweden and grew up amidst the great craft traditions of Italy and Tuscany.  Particularly worth mentioning is the high quality of the manufacturing and the sophisticated styles – perfectly suited to current market demands – as well as the ability to build an entire wardrobe around the elegant classical design of an accessory, a shoe, with meticulous attention paid to every aspect and detailed working processes, such as the items treated with shoe polish to offer an unquestionably contemporary effect.

Who is On Next? Pitti Uomo, Honorable Mention for Andrea Cammarosano

The jury decided that Andrea Cammarosano deserved an honorable mention for the creative content of his young, uninhibited project, and the special creativity of his products characterized by an original use and combination of colors and fine fabrics.

The designer reworked the basic elements of a man’s wardrobe using stylistic and innovative effects that remembered their classical roots. A collection with an international image that stands out for its broad inspiration, the result of the designer’s professional background.

Plus The Yoox.Com Award To …..Andrea Cammarosano

“We’ve been selling men’s wear successfully for the past twelve years on yoox.com, but it still gives me a buzz to add a new talent to our line-up” – says Federico Marchetti, Founder and CEO YOOX Group – “Aside from many well-deserved congratulations on this award, I’m confident the Internet will boost Andrea Cammarosano’s existing talent, and ensure him will be going strong in years to come too”.
