Godrej & Boyce to distribute HMT Watches

Leading watch maker HMT Ltd informed that its wholly owned subsidiary, HMT Watches Ltd has entered into an agreement with Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Company Ltd.
As per the terms of the agreement, Godrej & Boyce would be dispensing the products of HMT Watches on an all India basis, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Over the years HMT diversified into Watches, Tractors, Printing Machinery, Metal Forming Presses, Die Casting & Plastic Processing Machinery, CNC Systems & Bearings.
Leading privately-held diversified company Boyce Manufacturing Company Ltd celebrated its centenary in 1997. In 1897 a young man named Ardeshir Godrej gave up law and turned to lock-making.
